Cherokee at Fort Frederick: American Indian Heritage Month Program

Description: This hour long presentation will examine the story of the Cherokee who fought on the side of Maryland during the French and Indian War. The presentation will be held in the park's Visitor Center at 11 am and 2 pm, both Saturday and Sunday.
Cost: Park entrance fees apply.
Directions: From the west: Take I-70 E to exit 12(Big Pool), turn right on MD-56 and go down 1 mile to the park on your right. From the east: Take I-70 W to exit 12(Big Pool), turn left on MD-56 and go down 1 mile to the park on your right.
