Cost: Park entrance fees apply. Directions: From the west: Take I-70 E to exit 12(Big Pool), turn right on MD-56 and go down 1 mile to the park on your right. From the east: Take I-70 W to exit 12(Big Pool), turn left on MD-56 and go down 1 mile to the park on your right. Fort Frederick State Park 10/21/2017 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 10/22/2017 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Location: 11100 Fort Frederick Road City: Big Pool County: Washington Description: Experience pleasant diversions from military life at the fort during the French and Indian War as members of the recreated Maryland Troops garrison the fort. Highlights of the event include musket firing demonstrations, colonial toys and games, and other fun activities from the time. Hours are 10 am to 4 pm Saturday; Saturday at 7pm will be campfire program celebrating Guy Fawke/Bonfire night. Sunday 10 am to 3 pm. Cost: Park entrance fees apply.
