Gunpowder Falls State Park 5/20/2017 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Location: Days Cove Environmental Center - Closest Address: 6425 Days Cove Rd, White Marsh, MD 21162 City: Kingsville County: Baltimore Description: Visit this hidden gem of Gunpowder Falls State Park and join expert and novice birders from the Harford Bird Club as they seek early and late migrant songbirds. The Days Cove area is not normally accessible to the public so wildlife sightings are frequent. Both songbird and waterfowl populations are abundant, as this location is nestled among a cove and quarry lake with intermittent forested areas and fields. Register by email or through Meetup. Cost: No Cost Directions: After turning onto Days Cove Rd, drive past the reclamation center, Wirtz & Daughters and the rubble dump. Follow the road until it deadends at a split; yield left to take the gravel driveway towards the Days Cove Environmental Center (large sign outside by gate).
