2/14/2017 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Location: Mary Risteau District Court Building, MD DNR Conference Room, 2 South Bond Street, Suite #101, Bel Air, MD 21014 City: Bel Air County: Harford Description: The Harford County Forestry Board is a group of volunteers that supports the MD DNR Forest Service by promoting the planting and care of trees and forests. Some of the Board's activities include the following. It provides tree seedlings and large trees to schools and other organizations for Arbor Day and Earth Day, educates woodland owners, supports and assists with the County Envirothon, supports the Smokey Bear programs in schools and volunteer fire companies, staffs the Board display at various events, and assists with Maryland Big Tree measurements. Cost: No Cost Directions: In Bel Air, take Bond Street to Thomas Street, turn right, take the first right into the parking lot (Where the Bel Air Farmers' Market is held on Saturdays).
