2013 Commercial Horseshoe Crab Daily Landing Limit Modifications

The Secretary of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) pursuant to the Code of Maryland Regulation 08.02.10.01G(3) has announced a modification for the 2013 commercial horseshoe crab fishery. Effective at 12:01 a.m. August 8, 2013, an individual in possession of a valid horseshoe crab landing permit may not land more than 150 horseshoe crabs per day. The Maryland horseshoe crab fishery will be closed to all non-permit holders in the Chesapeake Bay and its tidal tributaries and the Atlantic coast and coastal bays. All other rules will remain the same.
