What is MERLIN Online?

MERLIN Online was originally developed in 1999 as a way of providing spatial data to interested parties without the need for specialized software and to help interested parties make better informed decisions. Visit the About MERLIN Online page for more information on the history of MERLIN Online.


How do I locate my home?

Enter an address or a place name in the "Find address or place" search bar to navigate to a particular area.


I can't see the imagery under the data. Is there a way to adjust the transparency on a data layer?

In the layer list, left click on the three dots ... to the right of each data group for tools such as changing transparency. The slider bar can be used to adjust the transparency.


Can I view historical imagery?

Yes. The historical imagery is located in the list of data layers. The historical imagery is located at the bottom of the list.
