Bound for the Promised Land: Portrait of an American Hero

Description: Dr. Kate Clifford Larson, the visitor center's historical consultant, will present her book "Bound for the Promised Land: Portrait of an American Hero". Learn new information and hear about her research methods to uncover new facts. Dr. Larson will also be signing copies of her book.

Directions: From Annapolis/points North: Take US-50 East towards Cambridge. Turn right onto Church Creek Rd (Route 16). Turn left onto Golden Hill Rd (Route 335). Proceed approx. 4.5 miles and the visitor center will be on your right. From Ocean City/points South: Take US-50 West towards Cambridge. Turn left onto Church Creek Rd (Route 16). Conversations with a Ranger: Talking Tubman
