There's plenty off resting places for sea gulls in the main bay.
I fished partial days Sept 12th, 13th, and 14th in Eastern Bay. The water was nearly the color of chocolate milk but a lot less debris than in the main bay. I caught two keeper Rock and a nice Spanish Mackerel and numerous small Bluefish on Monday. On Tuesday, I only caught a bunch of small Bluefish and today (Sep 14th) I caught a 29" rock and another Spanish Mackerel and a few small Blues and Rock. I ventured out into the main bay in front of Poplar Island but there's still too much debris to troll. All fish were caught trolling Drone spoons behind planers. I did find small Blues breaking on Tuesday.
