Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Upper Potomac River
I was fishing Saturday on the Potomac between Paw Paw and Bonds Landing and caught about 10 of these fish but don't know what they are. Any help would be appreciated. We also caught lots of small mouth, bluegills and rock bass, all from the kayaks. It was a good day. Thanks, Joe from Finksburg.
DNR's Response: Joe, from the photo it looks like a fallfish, search the Angler's Log for "Fallfish" and you'll find all entries showing other examples, thanks for writing.
