White Perch Still Active

We were casting beetle-spins in shallow water in the mouth of the Severn River on September 13. We were not really expecting much in the muddy waters courtesy of the flooding of the Susquehanna River from Tropical Storm Lee, when suddenly I felt a bite, and then a tug, and then the I heard zzzzz- that�s when I thought this must be a big fish. When I reeled it in - it was the biggest White Perch I have ever seen at 13�, pictured is Robin Zagalsky.
