This past Saturday I took the boat out on Liberty with my friend James. Stocked up on 2 dozen live golden shiners, hoping to slay some nice bass. After about 2 hours fishing and a few bass caught, I see my slip bobber rig go under. I set it and began to retrieve. I had no high expectations as it felt like a largemouth on the smaller end or something, but sure enough I see this pig of a Yellow Perch come up. It�s no 5 lb bass, but thanks to that perch for getting me into next year�s Fishing Challenge! He lives now, to swim another day. Enjoy the picture, Fish on!
