Spent the mid-morning on a windy day fishing with my father at Piney Run Park in Sykesville. Due to dirty water and the recent front passing through, the bite was initally slow. After down sizing and targeting windy banks; I landed this largemouth, which weighed just under 5 pounds, on a carolina rigged, 4" green senko worm. Several other bass were caught on small 4" senkos both carolina rigged and drop-shott rigged in 12 - 15 feet of water on the wind swept points and banks. Most of the bass caught ranged from 1 to 2.5 pounds and were all healthy. Not only were bass caught, but crappies and yellow perch seemed interested in a variety of bass lures that we were using throughout the day.
