The water temperature today ranged from a low of 62 degrees to a high of 64 in some of the shallower coves. The hydrilla is really beginning to sprout and green up in areas with a softer bottom. Just managed to land 3 largemouth bass today with the largest one going about 15 inches. Caught all of them on 10 inch Culprit Plastic Worms (Texas rigged, in "Red Shad" color). Missed a few strikes as the bass seemed tentative. Most of the hits came in 6-7 feet of water with the best bet being anyplace that a beaver or mother nature had knocked a tree down into the water. Also landed a tough little bullhead who wasn't intimidated by a plastic worm that was longer than he was.
