Tidal Bass Survey Update

MDDNR Tidal Bass Survey of Marshyhope Creek (Tributary of the Nanticoke River) turned up many age 1+ largemouth bass along with a bass weighing about 5 pounds. Most fish turned up in the upstream sections up to Federalsburg. Looks like good reproduction on the Marshyhope over the past 2 years may be providing some strong year classes for bass anglers in the coming years. Boat launches up in Federalsburg allows catch-and-release anglers to launch, fish Marshyhope, and release those fish back to Marshyhope when the day is done. We have about one more day of work (probably Thursday) on the Marshyhope.
