Atlantic Mix

Type: Coast
Region: Coastal
Location: Atlantic Ocean

Despite contrary recent reports of the inshore lumps we decided to troll the Jackspot Saturday 10.22.11, probably the last time for the year. We were pleased to get quite a few pulls thanks to the false albacore in the area. After about 2-1/2 hours trolling clark spoons we had a dozen or so knockdowns and boated (and released) 6 falsies. After the trolling fun we switched to bottom fishing for a nice constant pick of bluefish, flounder, sea bass, and sea-robins. The weather out there was beautiful with seas on the return trip less than a foot. Great fishing day.

I am on the let in the pic, and my brother, Rick Podlesny is on the right. Pic was taken by dad, Ron Sr. Both dad and Rick are from the Hazleton, Pa. area.
