Just thought I'd drop a note to area anglers that the pond fishing remains good in the central Maryland region for a variety of species. We continue to take bass on various plastics, big bluegills on jigs tipped with worms and the occasional big channel catfish on chicken livers. Any warm spell in the fall can trigger some great fishing. Here are some gills to 10.5 inches and channel catfish to 33 inches.
