Stemmers Run

While fishing with my dad at Stemmers Run with the kayaks the other day I came across this 9 lb 14 oz largemouth piggy in the stumps with my chrome and chartruse rattle trap. not a real long fish just all gut. When I got saw him roll the first time in the water I called out 7 1/2 pounds, when I got him in the kayak I knew I was flirting with double digits. Turns out he didn't quite get to double digits, but 24.5 inches long 19.5 girth and I'm a happy man.
