Hi folks. As the Fisheries Statistician, I dont get out in the field as much as the biologists. So when they ask me for some statistical advice it is only natural that I ask to accompany them on some sampling in order to provide the best advice. Dont you agree? Here are the photos from 2 great days last week with the Anadromous Species group. The first day they were sampling for Hickory and American shad as part of the shad restocking effort, and the second day they were sampling and collecting fish for Oxford Day. As much as I love my job, I can see why they enjoy the sampling part way more than the statistical data analysis part! Ill be visiting the hatchery later in the summer and will send you another photo story. Till then, Dr.B
