Tidal Potomac Catch

I took Wednesday off so that I could take my brother fishing. We were fishing the Occoquon River, just off the main stem of the Potomac. We were hoping to catch some yellow perch but could not locate any despite working a sliver buddy til my arm was sore. We moved several times until we stumbled on a huge school of crappie. We caught around a hundred with several fish at 10 inches or better. We kept and filleted about 50 of these tasty fish which will be dipped in �House of Autrey� seafood breader and quickly fried.
