10- Pound Carp!

On President's Day, February 20, 2012, I caught this 10 pound Carp using a 5 foot panfish rod spooled with 4 pound BPS Excel line, size 8 hook and one golden corn niblet with a single split shot about 18 inches from the hook. It took about ten minutes to tire her and I would not have been able to beach it without the help of fellow fishermen that had a large net.
