Signs of a True Fisherman

<p>My son, Tommy, has been sick this week and has missed a couple of days of school. However, he was well enough this evening to venture over to my neighbor's pond and catch his first fish of 2012—a small largemouth bass on a jig tipped with a minnow. </p> <p> He also had a nice 15-inch bass chase his bait, but he was not able to hook it. </p> <p> I'm looking forward to going back with him to catch that bigger bass </p> <p> Tom O'Connell<br /> MD DNR Fisheries Director </p>
