We went fishing on the upper Potomac both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The water temp was in the high 40s. The wind and the current were both very strong making it near impossible to present your lure the way they wanted it. We did manage to catch a couple of smallmouth bass. While fishing for them we hooked into a big channel catfish using a small tube, much to our surprise. All in all we had a great time and we just excited to be out for the first time of the year. Its only going to get better from here on out.
