Kayak Fishing
Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Centennial Lake
My Dad and I kayak fished Centennial lake on Saturday, 3/17/12. There was lots of boat traffic and the ramp always had a boat being launched or pulled out. I landed 2 small bass and my Dad landed a crappie. On Sunday, 3/18/12 we kayak fished the Daniels section of the Patapsco, North of the dam. Dad landed a small bluegill and I lost one at the boat. The smallmouth aren't in yet, as the water temps are still cold, however if this weather continues I predict they will be in soon. Many carp were spotted at the mouth of feeder creeks, I guess I'll have to break out the dough baits next time.
