Mico Light Pond Action

Just thought I'd send in a few photos of the fish we got locally from a central Maryland pond on March 16, 2012. My friend Patrick and I used 1/32 and 1/64 oz jigs with various plastic trailers to catch 48 bluegills, 8 bass and one channel catfish. All fish were released. Many of our bluegills were over 9 inches and several were just shy of 10. Bass were 10 to 14 inches. And fish of the day was Patricks' 8 pound channel cat he got on 2 pound test line after a lengthy fight. We have been using micro-light tackle to catch the panfish and bass� great fun!
