Bass on Lake Needwood

While fishing for trout using 4 BPS Excel line along with a size 8 hook and corn as bait, I caught this nice bass. She measured at 22" and was a tad over five pounds. I never would have cacthed her, fat with eggs, without my fishin buddy, Jared Lord. He was able to fetch her in ankle deep water. This is second time I needed another fisherman's help this season landing a fish without a net. Lesson learned: I shall purchase a fishing net.
