All Kinds of Fish Biting on the Middle Patuxent

Went out fishing at some of my secret spots on the Middle Patuxent in Howard County. Went Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Limited out all three days catching over 30 trout. I only kept my limit and them crimped my hooks. One trout was close to 18" and weighed in at just over 3 lbs. The secret lure: 1/16 oz plain jighead with black (also some yellow) gulf 1" minnow. If you reel in slow you will get some. However if you give the rod tip some repetitive short jerks it drives them nuts. Besides the rainbows, I landed one nice brownie, several small smallies, pumpkinseeds, and numerous large fallfish and creek chubs. Sorry no pictures. Last year I dropped my smart phone in the drink.

PS: if you notice some trout with a yellow gulf minnows in their mouth they already know me.
