This Bass is my first bass ever since picking up a rod for the first time last May. I caught him at Liberty Reservoir, under the west side of the Nicodemus Road bridge. It was about 6:30pm, Tuesday 4/10 and I used a 3/4 oz. red/black bass jig with a pumpkin 5" trailer worm. He was released immediately and swam off under his own power, which I have learned is the catch and healthy release goal. My wife took the photo. It would appear that by the small but noticeable belly on him, they have officially begun feeding. I cannot wait to catch more.and just when I was losing faith in myself. FISH ON!!!
