I had a nice trip to Piney Run this weekend. The fishing wasn't fast and furious but we did get a few nice ones. Pictured is my friend Jeff with a 3 pound largemouth and a rainbow trout. The trout was caught on an earthworm drifting behind the boat from a slip bobber. The bass was hiding in the submerged lily pads and hit a plastic lizard jigged slowly along the bottom. All of the fish looked healthy and were released to bite another day. I think some rain would help make the fish a little more active.
