Snakehead on the Anacostia

Location: Bladensburg Park near Peace cross.

Caught these snakeheads on the Anacostia River. Must have seen over thirty!

They are still on their nests and are not really going after the plastic frogs yet. Used a red, twist-tail worm hooked at the mid-point. Some of the snakeheads I observed were over twelve pounds!
