Fishing and bowfishing for snakeheads on the Potomac is really taking off! To further promote the control of this invasive species and help MD DNR with their efforts, we will be hosting the 2nd annual Potomac Snakehead Tournament on June 2-3. It is open to both bowfishing and hook and line fisherman. Win cash and prizes. Joe Love will be on hand at the tournament pre-conference to demonstrate proper killing techniques.
