A few fishermen were trying for shad in Deer Creek today, but not having much luck. Both Deer and Octoraro Creeks are in great shape, but just a bit off color. The Susquehanna itself was running hard, but fairly clear too. Fishermen at the dam weren�t having much luck either with the high flows. The shad should be showing up any day.
