Rockfish on the Potomac on Opening Day

While fishing in the lower Potomac River on opening day our drag went zinging with this 40 inch rockfish. J.C. Metcaf is shown on board his boat the FUSU, along with his other fishing buddies. We landed three beauties that morning all on white tandem rigs in about 50 feet of water. Great Job J.C., after reeling this trophy in, he is hooked on Maryland rockfishing. His first of many we hope.
