Accoceek Creek Snakehead

Type: Tidal
Region: Southern
Location: Accoceek Creek

I caught this snakehead on Monday 4/16/2012. I caught this fish in Accoceek Creek, a branch of Potomac Creek, on the south end of the Potomac River. I was using a Green Pumpkin colored crayfish imitation (Berkley Chigger Craw) in lily pad stems. The tide was slack and low. This fish was in about 2-3 feet of water. It was sunny, water temps were around 67 degrees, and the time was around 11 am. Weight is estimated at 2.5-3 pounds and it was 21 inches long.
