Great Opening Day

I caught my first rockfish on a charter while trolling on opening day with Bobby Marshall on Class Act Charters. It was super fat, 36 inches and almost 25 pounds. We also got a 30, 34, 35,and 37 inch. We left around 6am out of Knapps and the bite was really slow probably due to boat traffic. We got one bite every two hours or so.

I also recently got a 24 inch rockfish near Chain Bridge (released) and was surprised fishing the upper Monocacy when I hooked a fat 8.5 pound channel cat.
