Here is our fishing report for Friday, April 27.
In summary, we caught and released 40 total fish, mostly smallmouth bass in the 10 to 11 inch range. The largest bass was 15.5 inches and 1.4 pounds. Five catfish were caught with the largest at 19 inches. The bait of the day was twister tail grub on 1/8 oz jig head. Fish were also taken on crank bait, buzz bait and Gulp 5 inch sinking minnow. Water temp only around 55 degrees with gusty wind most of the day. We fished out of Dargan from 7 am until 3 pm.
