39" Rockfish at the Mouth of the Potomac

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Southern
Location: Mouth of Potomac River

While fishing out of Tall Timbers, MD aboard my boat the FUSA, I caught my biggest trophy rockfish ever. Lily (yellow lab) helped. She weighed in at 26 Pounds and was 39 inches long. I caught this trophy at the mouth of the Potomac River at the Chesapeake Bay. I was using a tandem White Parachute Rig and was fishing about 150 back. Nice fish.
