I caught these 6 snakeheads downriver of Tim's on the Potomac. They all varied in weights and sizes. The smallest being about 4 pounds and the largest about 12. The pictures attached were at the end of the day, we only got in about 45 minutes before the sun went down.
The place was thick with snakeheads. Pretty shallow water, a couple inches to 4 feet. They hit on chatterbaits, senkos, rebel worms, rubber frogs, and topwater baits. When they're on their nest, throw if they skirt the surface and they'll hit. After a while, they get wise to the anglers and wouldn't hit on the bait. They get a little spooked.
