Large and Smallmouth on the Potomac

Went out last weekend to the Potomac just under Great Falls on the Maryland side. I started out with a Rapala crank-bait where I was able to land a few largemouths, all around 12-14 inches. Then I changed it up to some plastic worms and grubs and was able to reel in a couple smallmouths ranging from 15-18 inches+. I saw a huge school of carp and some big cats in a large inlet off the main river as well. All fish were caught and released.
