Letha Grimes of MD DNR Fisheries Service and I were fortunate to spend the day with 58 Cub Scouts on Earth Day. The Cub Scouts were able to practice casting with Letha in preparation to do some fishing at Glades Park Pond in Oakland, MD. I provided the activity of fish prints for the scouts, and I must say they came out very nice! The day followed with all the scouts and their family enjoying a day of fishing the pond and catching bluegills and largemouth bass.
