First Crabs of The Season

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Eastern
Location: West River

Started around 6:00-10:00 Caught the Low-incoming tide-using 30 traps-Crabbing was very steady today considering being this early. I managed to get a real nice bushel of Crabs Worked in the 4-7ft range of water and the temperature was @ 66-68. Caught a bunch of 5" ones But only kept the 5-1/4 + ones. Most of the crabs were in the 5-1/4" - 6-1/2" p/p range with a few over the 7" mark.
