Eastern Shore Snakehead Verified

Ms. Linda Adkins caught a northern snakehead using hook-and-line from a privately owned pond in Salisbury. The pond can be inundated by the upper Wicomico River during high tides. This is not the first snakehead reported from the upper Wicomico, but it is the first one that has been captured and verified by MD DNR.
