I was fishing off the Choptank state pier bridge and caught a snakehead roughly 6 inches long using a piece of blood worm next to perches. Second picture shows death by knife slit to the brain.
DNR Response: Hey Joe, Thanks for sending in the angler�s report! That fish you caught was an oyster toadfish, which is native to Maryland. If you catch a snakehead in the future, though, then send in your report and we�ll enter you into the random drawing at the end of the year.
