June 2nd I spent the day on the lake at Greenbriar State Park in Washington County. I'm local to the park so while the girlfriend was working I took my kayak up to the lake to fish. Targeting largemouth bass, I took my baitcaster and plastics. Only cought one in the afternoon around 2:30 and nothing untill around 6:00. It started picking up from there. Total catch number was 7 largemouths. I was throwing what I call a sweet beaver. It is a Strike King summer craw, dark green top and light green bottom. Slowly bouncing off the bottom and through the tall weeds there. Over all it was a good day. I recommend going during the week. The lake has a beach and is very well known so there were a lot of people there, swimming, fishing from the banks, recreational kayakers and hikers.
