Antietam Creek Rainbow Trout

Tanner hooked this monster under the bridge at Devil's Backbone Park about 6:00 in the evening. Played it well for a little more than 15 minutes before netting it. Another angler did help with the netting as Tanner's net was not big enough to maintain the fish on the first attempt. With his net and the other anglers net they netted her in the middle of the creek. Wolfes on the Square was not open so the fish was measured in front of the park attendant, 26 inches and 7lbs 4 oz. Caught using Cortland Fly Rod, Wooly Worm spinner and 4 lb. test tippet (Stren).
