On Saturday June 9 th, we left the dock around 7am. When we got to the area of Thomas Point, we spotted surface activity. The wind was a choppy 9 knots out of the SW. We trolled around the activity picking up 6 rockfish up to 25 inches. We held a slot open but never got about to fill it. (The attached picture shows Steve Street holding two rock.)
On Sunday June 10th we fished in the Thomas Point area again. We decided to try chumming. We set up in 35 feet. The bite was slow but steady. By 11am we had a limit of nice fish.
