What kind of fish is this?

Type: Tidal
Region: Southern
Location: Solomon's Island Inlet

I can't seem to identify this fish that I caught June 10th. I was fishing with my ultra light rod with some blood worms and ended up catching this thing on accident I believe. It was hooked in the gill when I reeled my line in, took him off the hook and released it back into the water after taking these pictures.

DNR Response: Looks like you had a feather blennie, they are common within that region of the bay and southward, less common the further north you travel.
