Cownose Ray in the Bay

Location: North of Kent Narrows, Eastern Neck Island and Chester River

While boating north of the Kent Narrows going North into the Chester River we ran into a school of cownose rays just below the surface.They were traveling north of Eastern Neck Island into the Chester River. While in the Chester River just off of Corsica Creek (anchored) another school came by with fins out of the water � some on the boat were concerned it was a shark (with people cooling off in the water). The water was very clear and everyone saw once it was close it was only rays � very cool to see good water clarity in the river and marine life that far North.
