Great Day Rockfishing Near Chesapeake Beach

On June 24th we departed out of Happy Habor in Deale, MD on the Miss Grace with Capt. Bob Baker and Capt. Karl Bieberich. We bottom fished for spot with blood worms on bottom rigs. (caught 6 nice size white perch and 1 undersized flounder released alive and well) Live lined for rockfish using spot, near buoy 82 right out front of Cheaspeake Beach. We limited out by 8:45am, 12 rockfish in the cooler ranging from 22 - 30 inch. This was a Father-Son trip: Brad & Bob Crook, Marvin & Shawn Farmer, Will Hook & Gene Marshall. This was a great day of fishing. Blue bird day and the bay was calm. Can't wait till our next trip on the Miss Grace.
