White Perch in Annapolis

Saturday June 23, 2012, on a bright sunny morning, I caught around 2 dozen stout white perch fishing the creeks in downtown Annapolis. The perch were between 8 to 11 inches in length and were hitting on small spinnerbaits, beetle spin grubs, jigs and grass shrimp. I fished open areas from bridges and the shore. It's amazing to me how much fish these creeks downtown can yield. I also caught a busy amount of small pickerel and rock which I battled all with micro tackle� FUN!
