Tolly Point Striped Bass

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Middle Bay
Location: Tolly Point

With no power at home and a hot balmy day, stores are crowded and the only way to keep cool is to get out on the water. After fishing Saturday 7/1 with no luck, we decided to give it another shot. Went out Sunday 7/2 off Tolly Point live lining with small spot and circle hooks & caught two rockfish within 10 minutes. The first a 32 inch rockfish weighing in at 15 lbs. and the second a 24 inch rockfish. It was an exciting catch & my first mate, Rubie, was especially excited. Other boats witnessed our catch and came over to our location and followed us as we tried to move back into the action, but to no avail. Here is a picture or Rubie with our prize catch.
